10xXx Hosts OSU Architecture Students
With a continual desire to help students reach their goals, Joe & Connie hosted students from the Oklahoma State University Architecture Department at the 10xXx. The students were able to study the design and construction of the buildings of the ranch, which showcase a cross-section of rural American architecture. Key examples include two antique barns from New York (1770 Dutch Barn and 1850 English Barn), an 1835 Dog Trot Log Cabin from Ohio, and numerous other houses and historical buildings built over the past century. Finally, the OSU students were treated to tour of Joe & Connie’s recently constructed home, “Parador”, that features a blending of American West and Old World design. From their time at the 10xXx, the students created many drawings and design studies of the various buildings they saw. See more photos….
